A beta version is now available from the download page; currently standard version only. I’d hoped it would be based on Debian wheezy but I couldn’t yet get Virtualbox working on it, and the file sizes were noticeably bigger. Anyway, I’m swapping openbox for fluxbox, and adding a login manager, slim.
- Upgrade to next Debian, i.e. Wheezy
- Start up VirtualBox on startup (till then, append ‘virtualbox&’ to /etc/xdg/openbox/autostart.sh)
- Move some items from Enhanced to Standard, e.g. thunar
- Installation from menu: Debian -> Applications -> System -> Administration -> Remastersys Installer
- More screenshots

Great idea for a distro. Just what I was just trying to decide. Which distro to use with VB. I think I found it!
Thank you! AFAIK its the only distro that has VB pre-installed (but not much else). Please bear in mind its brand new and might have issues – let me know of any you may find.
I am burning to CD and loading onto a new refurbished laptop. I will continue in the forums. Thanks.
Perfect I use this to accomodate both a windows and linux vm running from USB. None of that bother with persistance, the VMs are just stored on a separate partition.
The usb key also boots right away on my Macbook Air 2012. Very, very nice bonus to have both mac and pc bootability.
